After hosting a Geocaching HQ Block Party in 2025, we are pleased to present our next Yuma Mega Event.  This will mark the 22nd year that Yuma has hosted a major geocaching event, and it will be better than ever. 
 
This Mega event takes place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 9am to 2pm, but the fun lasts all week.  Any down time can be spent finding some of Yuma’s amazing geocaches.  Even in the winter, you can count on warm, dry weather for perfect geocaching conditions!
 
 
YUMA MEGA ITINERARY

We are currently planning the Yuma Mega Event activities, but here are some things to expect:

What to do before, and after the Yuma Mega Event:
 
Events:
 
We have planned 15 side events for you from January 27 through February 3.  Come early and stay late.  There is plenty for you to do.
 
Geocaches:
 
While there are a lot of geocaches for you to find in the area, we are planning a new Challenge Geo-Art located on the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range.  A free permit is required to access the range.  We will also be placing many new S*W*A*G geocaches for you to find.
 
Adventure Labs:
 
We are planning several new Adventure Labs for you to enjoy, including a new AdLab Geo-Art.  Expect them to be published during the week.
